Covering up your pins

Horrible site – flared jeans under a dress. Simple as that... Really no further explanation is required seeming this person is beyond repair and even with an abundance of advice she probably still wont get it right…I mean that is just shocking.
I was prancing through Melbourne Central when I saw quite a strange and very disturbing site. Quite a pretty flowery dress awash with pretty colours was being worn by a young woman…underneath this dress, which was down to her knees, should have been a pair of black leggings or even a pair of tights… Simple I would have thought…obviously not. There they were…the jeans I would pine over when I was a 9 year old girl going on 16 – the “flared” jean! Correct…this woman had teamed up a pair of light wash blue denim jeans which were baggy, flared and dragging under her feet with a skin tight florally dress which was green and orange in colour. In no way could this dress have been worn as a top. It was down to her knees! Ok so I will justify my point. I would maybe allow a pair of skinny leg jeans, (a dark denim colour) to be worn underneath the long dress but only if you really wanted to wear your new frock and it was too cold to flash your pins. Even when I think of this I still am doubtful about the potential deadly mix of flared and tight apparel…Attention girls of Melbourne, if you are planning to wear a super skin tight dress, do not wear a massive pair of long jeans underneath it which was probably manufactured in the middle of the 90’s. It is not cool for school for you to be plodding around the “fashion capital” in your old basketball runners with your jeans dragging under them and a long dress wrapped around your torso. This demonstrates you clearly wanted to fit in with the whole “dress & tights” combo but have actually failed to use one of the main ingredients…Your recipe is lacking a pair of black simple leggings or tights…Golly gosh, what is the world coming toooooooooo…………….

You know...maybe they were being 'cool', of course you nor I will ever understand because they are simply 'misunderstood.'
