European Twinkles

Recently returning from an overseas holiday, sporting the ‘onesie’ successfully and buying as much stuff as I could physically carry has worked a treat – my wardrobe has had a total revamp!
It is all glitz and glamour over there at the moment. Designs found in Top Shop, Zara, Desigaul and a bunch more European labels with exotic spellings ensured I splashed the cash without a care in the world!
Now I will admit – I was never a fan of the sequin. Initial thoughts that would come to mind include: tacky, attention seeker and O.T.T. Well...now I must eat my own words! Words I posted on here 2 years ago!
I love sequins! Gimme sparkles all year around ladies
This strange love has taken me by the hand and led me astray...in a very good way. I purchased the most absurd dresses from London-Town.
At the time I thought it was holiday brain, encouraging me to shop til I dropped. Just to buy everything in sight.
After purchasing three formal, sequined-bombed frocks I got back to the London apartment, questioned my judgement and hid them at the bottom of the suitcase. Then a few weeks later, I get back to Melbourne, pull them out of the suitcase and think to myself – best decision ever – utter genius!
They are so funky and cute! One is black and the other indigo/black so it is not as if white/silver sequins have made a guest appearance in the wardrobe (similar to a disco ball).
Anyway despite all of this...a little bit of bling never hurt anyone...or alot!
