Flamingo alert!
June 18th 2008 03:09
Ok women of the world – this could definitely be considered a Flamingo alert! Fluro/Hot pink stockings and red points was the attire that strutted past me in the middle of a department store the other day. Ridiculous I say people! What sort of an outfit is that?! Other than being a hideous attempt at colour co-ordination – it simply represents a girl who has no idea about what is acceptable in society. Fine – I can understand - you want to wear your newly purchased red points (which clearly were disgusting) on a lovely sunny day, but perhaps you should have considered either no stockings at all or go for a classic black pair. Seriously this young individual looked like a colourful rainbow which did not cheer any one up, nor was there a pot of gold at the end - it simply made people want to gag...disgusting. She clearly crossed the “too bright” line. Perhaps she was trying to imitate a glow stick? Who knows people?... Meanwhile that was the south of her outfit – I will not even commence the discussion that was featured above the belt! I was clearly fixated on the massive red points which stuck out like a sore thumb! However, I will mention the strange hat the offender was wearing at the time that the offence occurred....yes it appeared to be half a top hat which is fine – I can handle hats – but not with your crap bottom attire. The “old man” hat was black and checkered....Come on! What look are you trying to achieve? This chick had just got a whole heap of random stuff, put it together and dead-set believed she could pull it off...Well I have news for – you didn’t! I do not understand how these people wear such random things and do not notice the 100 pairs of eyes staring at them thinking what have you done to the fashion world?...You are mutilating it every time you move an inch and take a step forward....Great entertainment guys for when you are prancing through a shopping venue. Maybe I should have led her to the stockings department?
