A little warning for folks trekking down to Melbourne - It is a bit slushy for the stilettos to be out in force in Melbourne at the moment.
Being the chilliest and wetest year in 18 years does not help the situation and considering the wetest day has been a Saturday getting all glammed up to hit the d-floor on the weekend has often been coupled with strategic ways to get to your chosen destination witout mascara running down your face due to torrential rain.
It is time to (unfortuntaely) pull out the midnight black tights and cute ankle high boots allowing you to wade through the water...on second thoughts rip out any knee-high or higher boots to get you through this random batch of feral weather.
Another little tip - you do not want to be sipping your cocktails with panda eyes so waterproof mascara is a must!
