Wedge Wonderland

Wedges have got to be the best things invented. I don’t think I could ever go back to the spikey stiletto.
Working in a boutique that sells fabulous footwear, I have noticed myself steering people in the wedge direction. They look fabulous, are really comfortable and do great things for your pins.
From October (where Spring Racing Season hit Melbourne), colours have taken a turn for the better. Lots of camels, nudes, peach and creams are looking great with any outfit.
If you’re lucky enough to find wedges with a platform at the front, then you’re in for a real treat. It’s literally like walking on a fluffy cloud.
That extra support at the front really does make all the difference.
I never really was a fan of the wedge. I didn’t like how your heels were exposed to the world. They looked tacky, unfinished and too heavy to look decent with any outfit-massive fashion crime.
But, as time has gone by, and they have been morphed into cute twins that protect your tootsies-they rate quite highly!
